Raspberry Smile

Today started out gray and rainy. I was not optimistic about the rest of the day, and planned some cozy lentil soup for dinner. But God gave us a wondrous gift! The sun came out in the late morning and continued shining all afternoon! Clara woke up a little early from her nap, so we seized the opportunity and went raspberry picking; I have been wanting to go since August but we had never had the chance until today! The picking was not great but we got enough to make a small batch of jam, we had a blast enjoying the beautiful fall afternoon, and Clara even found a friendly kitty to pet in the raspberry patch. As you can see, she fully enjoyed the outing!
